Pinot Noir wines are among the most popular in the world. Our exceptional, award winning Freestone Hills Pinot was night harvested from the coolest vineyards surrounding the small town of Freestone. This area yields very small crops that harvest late, and are remarkable for the red fruit flavors renown of Pinot Noir from the coolest areas. Harvest took a little longer than usual due to a cooler than average summer. Each cluster was hand sorted and de-stemmed in one ton fermenters with approximately 25% left to whole cluster for the enhanced aromatic benefit.

This naturally fermented (wild yeast) and perfectly balanced dry white wine was made in the vineyard. Hand harvested from the best rows, the 2013 Brenda Lee Chardonnay is a blend of 9 different clones from vines planted in 1972, 1992, and 2000. Complex is the buzzword for this wine. After fermentation the wine went from barrel to bottle with no manipulation; the flavors were there and the ph and acid were textbook. The wine shows bright gold in color with golden delicious apple, apricots, and honey in the nose. In taste, creamy with brown spice and Meyer lemon. All finishing balanced with light toasty oak.
